Associate Director / Project Manager and Senior Designer
Nick graduated as an Industrial Designer from RMIT in 2004. Nick’s experience over the past 10 years has seen him lead design and fabrication teams through some of the most complex and dynamic public design projects from The Pixar Lamp, a 6 metre steel and fibre glass structure outside Australian Centre of Moving Image in Melbourne, to more recently leading the design and construction team through the Lemurs Precinct at Melbourne Zoo, Sealife Melbourne Aquarium, Underwaterworld Mooloolabaa and currently Sealife Bangkok Aquarium.
Nicks specialist skills and interests are in the development of new materials, material processes and technologies. He has an impressive ability to design complex structures from a minimal sketch through to its realisation in 3D form.
Nick project manages all of Arterials larger projects liaising with architects, construction managers, lighting designers, engineers and other fabrication specialists. He thrives on the challenge of co-ordinating complex projects and delivering refined design solutions.
