Philipp Steinweber

Bachelor of Design (Mulitmedia)

Multimedia Designer

Philipp graduated from Multimedia Art studies in 2008 in Salzburg/Austria. Through these studies, and his following work experience, he has focused on interdisciplinary media applications in space.

Philipp enjoys using and combining different media formats and thereby creating impressive and poetic experiences. He has worked extensively with projections, interactive installations, large scale prints, screen and web applications. Philipp enjoys the conceptual depth that arises from combining these mediums.

Since completing his degree he freelanced in Germany for several years, working mainly for MESO Digital Interiors in Frankfurt, developing and implementing large scale interactive installations, exhibitions and brand spaces for companies like BMW, Mercedes Benz, Siemens and Deutsche Telekom. The more his experience grows, the more he enjoys working for educational and social purposes. This brought him to NGOs in rural India and Portugal.

Philipp complements his media artistry with teaching, imparting his favourite tools and methods through workshops and universities in Germany. His work has also been published in several books.

Phillip works with Arterial remotely from Munich and is the link between Arterial and Meso Digital Interiors in Frankfurt. Meso, Phillip and Arterial are currently working on an exhibition concept together located in france...watch this space!
